# File Restore

**Notes:**

* The restore feature is only available on the [**Enterprise Subscription**](/help-center/ciqa-eqms-user-guide/getting-started/team-profile/subscriptions.md).
* Records must be in Open, Active, Inactive, In Service or Out of Service status in order to restore files.
* Records must be in Open, Active, Inactive, Duplicated, In Service or Out of Service status in order to upload files.

To restore a deleted file, you must press the recycle bin icon <img src="/files/H1qe7w5n1zTaSDmFFbJ4" alt="" data-size="line">. By pressing the vertical ellipsis icon <img src="/files/iSCktC8kK3UhK7b95Uco" alt="" data-size="line">, a drop-down menu will be displayed where you will find the options to handle your deleted files.
