# File Upload

**Notes:** Records must be in Open, Active, Inactive, Duplicated, In Service, Out of Service or Decommissioned status in order to upload files.

In the File Repository, you can upload different types of file&#x73;**.** As shown in the following figure, there are two (2) ways to upload files into the data depository.

* **Drag and Drop**
* **Click Option To Upload a File**

To sync the file list, press the sync icon <img src="/files/2no948Ne182a0f7U60hg" alt="" data-size="line">. The system will synchronize and display the Files List.![](/files/HwvAt8GXiTuRsQ2lJHoP)

**Tips**

* Only files with the following extensions can be uploaded: .avi, .bmp, .csv, .doc, .docx, .jpg, .mov, .mp3, .mp4, .mpp, .pdf, .png, .ppt, .pptx, .rar, .rtf, .txt, .vsd, .vsdx, .xls, .xlsx and .zip.
* The maximum file size allowed is **100MB.**
* The maximum simultaneous upload is **5 files**.

### File Upload Actions and Training

**Actions and Trainings must be in Pending, or In Process status in order to upload files.**

In the attachment section for actions and trainings, you can upload different types of file&#x73;**.** As shown in the following figure, there are two (2) ways to upload a file into the data depository.

* **Click Option To Upload a File**

### File Management

Press the vertical ellipsis icon <img src="/files/iSCktC8kK3UhK7b95Uco" alt="" data-size="line">, as shown in the following figure, and a drop-down menu will be displayed where you will find the options to handle your files.
