Edit File

Each file uploaded to the file repository can be edited to change its name and assign it a number.

Notes: For this functionality, the user must have the respective permissions in the form of view and update.

To edit the number or name of a file, you must press the ellipsis icon and press the edit icon .

A window will open displaying fields for both the File Number and File Name, giving you the ability to modify the file name or assign a number to any uploaded file.

Tips

• You can remove the file extension from the File Name field without losing its format when downloading.
