Attributes Definition

The purpose of the attribute definition form is to allow the user to view, add, or edit the attributes values.

Access the Attributes Definition Form:

  • Step #1: Click the MODULE tab located on the top-left corner.

  • Step #2: Select the drop-down menu option called Products & Inventory Management. A new drop-down menu is shown where the forms of the Products & Lots module is shown.

  • Step #3: Select the drop-down menu option called Products & Lots. A new drop-down menu is shown where the forms of the Products & Lots module is shown.

  • Step #4: Select the new option from the drop-down menu called Attributes Definition, as shown in the following picture.

Summary Table

Once the Attributes Definition form is accessed, the first screen presented in this form is the Attributes summary table. This screen shows a summary list of all registered attributes. The summary table contains the following columns:

  • Attribute Name: This column displays the attribute's name and its current status (Inactive or Active ).

  • Attribute Values: This column shows the attribute values.

  • Description: This column displays attribute descriptions.

  • Eye icon : To view more detailed information about each record, click on the icon.

The attribute definition record allows you to make the following definitions:

Tips

  • All fields with * are required to be filled.

  • Attributes cannot be renamed if they have been used in products.

Attribute Values

After saving the attribute definition record, an attribute value section will appear. In this section, you can edit or create attribute values for the attribute record. To add an attribute value, click the plus icon .

Once the attribute value has been added, press the checkmark icon and the attribute values will be saved. To exit, click on the X icon to return to the main screen.

Tips

  • Users can simultaneously add up to 10 attribute values.

  • By default, attribute values will be created with an Active status.

After saving, you can click on it to edit or delete the attribute value, as well as change it to active or inactive.

Once the attribute value has been edited, press the green checkmark icon to update it. To delete the attribute value, press the red trash can icon .

Tips

  • Attribute values cannot be edited or deleted if they have been used in products, but their status can be changed.

  • Once the attribute value is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
