Scrap Charts

The scrap charts provides insights into scrap generation across different product types and departments.

The system displays the following Lots charts:

#130 Scrap Generation by Product Type

This chart illustrates how scrap generation varies among different product types over a specified time period, offering valuable insights into which product types contribute the most to scrap generation based on their scrap dates.

The scrap is categorized according to the following product types:

  • Component

  • Finish Product

  • Unfinished Product

  • Raw Material

  • Other

Tips

  • You can choose the time interval you prefer, which can range from days, months, years, or quarters.

  • You can choose the chart type using the chart settings. For more details about how it works, you can click here to refer to the Chart Settings.

  • You can deactivate and activate the product types you prefer, enabling you to view a specific product type when needed.

  • If the chart is a column, line, or column stack, and you hover over it, the total for that specific range will be displayed.

This chart illustrates the breakdown of scrap generation by department over a specified time period, providing valuable insights into the departments that contribute the most to scrap generation by product types based on their scrap dates.

Search Filter

The charts offer a variety of filtering options. When these options are applied, they will affect each count.

Search Filter Example
  1. Time interval, using parameter such as Days, Months, Years, or Quarters.

  2. Time range.

  3. Open the filter window

By clicking on the vertical ellipsis icon , as shown in the following figure, a drop-down menu will be displayed where you will find the options to handle your chart. If any filter were selected, they will be included when you print, download or export the chart.

When you print the chart, it will include a stamp with a unique control number along with the name of the user who initiated the print with a stamp detailing the date/time it was made, all this information can be found in the document footer, as shown in the example below. Designed to comply with the cGMPs, ALCOA, ALCOA+, and other data integrity and security standards associated with forms and documents.
