This section allows users to enter key details required for equipment registration. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory for record creation and system functionality. The form includes the following fields:
Equipment Number: A unique identifier assigned to each equipment item for tracking and reference purposes.
Equipment Name: The official name of the equipment, device, instrument, or machinery.
Status: Indicates the current status of the equipment (e.g., In Service, Out of Service, Decommissioned, Duplicated).
Type: Specifies the category or classification of the equipment, allowing users to organize and differentiate equipment types.
Category: Defines the broader classification or grouping of the equipment for inventory and management purposes.
Description: A detailed field to describe the equipment’s purpose, intended use, functions, key features, characteristics, and operating instructions.
Tag Number: A temporary unique identifier assigned to the equipment for tracking before a permanent asset number is assigned.
Asset Number: A permanent unique identifier used for long-term tracking and management of the equipment.
Operator(s): Allows users to assign operators responsible for handling or maintaining the equipment.
You can add new types or categories directly from the dropdown menu by selecting the "Add [Yours]" option. Once added, the new type or category will be available for selection in future position records.
Images can be uploaded once the record is created. All uploaded images are automatically compressed to optimize storage and are counted as part of your allocated storage space. If an image is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
This section allows users to input key details about the equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and identification. This includes information such as the manufacturer, brand, model, serial number, and important dates like the manufacturing date and warranty expiration.
The following section allows users to document important health and safety considerations related to the equipment. This may include safety guidelines, hazard precautions, operational risks, required protective measures, and compliance with workplace safety regulations to ensure safe and proper equipment usage.
It allows users to record essential details, additional comments, or relevant information about the equipment. This can include specific usage instructions, maintenance reminders, special conditions, or any other notes that help in managing and tracking the equipment effectively.
Provides direct access to linked records, serving as a centralized hub for organizing and navigating interconnected information.
